Regardless of the industry, you are active in, sooner or later, many suppliers will ask the following question: “Can I exchange trade messages with you via EDI?” In some cases, this is even a requirement to do trading.
This was also the case with AVEC, which had to search for a suitable EDI supplier. Once implemented, EDI proved to be the catalyst for an accelerated order-to-cash process and the connection of more trading partners.
