Create standardized product sheets directly from PIM.
The PIM solution of SRC offers standard functionality to generate documents, directly from the user interface. We call them Product Sheets. These documents use a specific lay-out, customizable per client and contain item information. The lay-out can be configured in a template file and the item information can be selected from the entire list of available attributes.
The generated document can contain information about one item, one hierarchy or a selection of items, depending on the template configuration. The document can also contain images and logo’s. These images can be added directly from the DAM module or can be publicly available images on the internet. The product sheets that you generate are instantly available to the user, on your website or for print purposes. The output format of the document module is either Excel or PDF.
The template is defined in Microsoft Excel. You can use default values and headers. Using standard available functions in PIM you can extract attribute data from a single item or a specific level in the item hierarchy. Several functions are available to adjust the printed item data. And you can use translation tables to translate a value stored in PIM to a value that is printed on the document.
